About Dots and Boxes — 📐 Pencil-and-paper classic
Connect dots to draw lines on a 5×5 grid. Whenever you complete a box, you claim it and get another turn. Most boxes wins. AI is defensive — avoids giving you 3-sided boxes.
How to play Dots and Boxes
- Click between two dots to draw a line.
- Completing a box claims it for your color and gives you another turn.
- When all lines are drawn, the player with more boxes wins.
Tips & strategy
- Avoid being the one who creates a 3-sided box — your opponent will close it.
- In endgame, sacrifice the smallest chains.
- Count: if there's an odd number of "long chains", aim to play first; even, play second.
