The classic toggle puzzle. Click a cell to flip it AND its four neighbors (a plus shape). Goal: turn every light OFF. Easier said than done — most moves seem to make it worse.

How to play Lights Out

  1. Click any cell.
  2. That cell and its 4 neighbors all toggle on/off.
  3. Goal: get the whole grid OFF.

Tips & strategy

  • "Chase the lights" — clear top row by clicking the row below it.
  • After chasing, only the bottom row remains. Specific bottom-row patterns require specific top-row triggers.
  • Most 5×5 puzzles need 8-15 careful clicks.
